To Do?

Here's my story, give me your ear,

Listen closely, to my life, which was so dear.

I had a great marriage, a wife so lovely and true,

But now she's left, what am I to do?

I served many people and my church I did love,

The music rocked, God's presence from above.

That too is lost, it's gone, it's through,

Oh, dear Lord, what am I to do?

Then my home, so comfortable, so fine,

Great rooms, family, friends and holiday time.

Now empty, foreclosed, no bed to go to,

Now what, I ask, what am I to do?

So today, I ponder and think, all alone,

Wondering why, had God lost His throne?

I feel a deep loss, pain and agony too,

No hope or direction, what am I to do?
