This is a "re-do" of this piece. I didn't like the shadowing. I had
it wrong. Some shadows were in the wrong places and some areas that should
have been shadowed weren't.
Any way thisis better and the coloring
around the woman is also redone.

I painted this work with Black Paper to get the skin tones to stand out more.
I'm doing another but will leave the paper black around the model.

Blue Nude Revisited

darkened the background and ground plane. I like the new coloring.
Then took some pink out of her, so she is no
longer sunburned. and added some detail and improved the shape of her hair.

My Studio!!

Here are some shots of my studio from different angles. I have done some art over the years, but never really seriously or I would skip 5 years before I did another piece. Now I'm trying to do 3-4 a week.
Never dull or boring. I do a lot of different subject matter. Landscapes, still lifes, flowers, dogs, birds and a few "nudes."
It is a lot of fun and great therapy for my head!

advised me of the "sunburn" the art had.
